THE LAKESHORE INN HAS RELEASED THE ROOMS FOR 2012 AND LIBBY MCCHESNEY MCDONALD HAS GRACIOUSLY SENT US THIS INFORMATION CONCERNING STAYING THERE. We have negotiated discounted room rates at the Lakeshore Inn in beautiful downtown LO for next September's Reunion. The hotel has recently been remodeled. You can go to their website, www.thelakeshoreinn.com

They have studios, rooms with 2 queens; one bedroom suites and 2 bedroom suites. Several classmates have already made reservations for one and 2 bedroom suites and sharing the room with another classmate..

In order to receive the Group Discount Rates you will need to identify yourself when you call to make reservations as part of the LOHS '62 Reunion, which is September 7-8-9, 2012.

We have already heard from classmates planning on coming in a day or two ahead of time to get together with classmates they want to visit with.

The goal is to see if we can book the whole hotel for the nights of Friday, September 7 & Saturday, September 8. Just like we will have the Country Club all to ourselves on Saturday night, the hotel would be the same way.

DROP DEAD deadline to get the discounted room rate is Sunday, August 5, 2012. That gives us plenty of time to get on the phone or email with our classmates if room sharing or rooming next to one another is important to you.

(NOTE: You can reserve your room without a charge and can cancel it close to the date if for some reason you are not able to attend. That way you know for sure you have the room if you are even considering coming to the 50th reunion. Sometimes wedding parties try to reserve the hotel so get your reservation in early so you're guaranteed a room).
